Betsy - the Queen of our place!  She's a great mother and has raised twins every year.  She yields approximately 5 lbs of hair at every cutting.  

Delilah - don't let her size fool you, she actually yielded 6lbs of hair this fall!  She raised a beautiful chocolate brown doe kid this year.

Coral - they don't get much better than this.  She yields at least 6 lbs of hair every shearing and has had twins every year.  All of her buck kids have been kept as herd sires (WL Durango and PLF Dustin).  Coral raised twin buck kids for 2009 which are available for sale.

My love for goats began when I was growing up on a ranch in west Texas where my family had both registered and commercial herds.  Their curious personalities and their ability to produce such a unique fiber won me over.  It's been a few years since I've been around them but as soon as I had a chance I took the opportunity to purchase a few of my own.  We have enjoyed having them around and watching our kids become very fond of them as well!

 

Sugar - She's a keeper.  Sugar is a true brown out of Delilah and Mufasa and my favorite doe kid this year.  Can't wait to see what her future holds!

Midas - straight from the infamous KAI Ranch in Texas, where they are known for top quality mohair producing goats!  He's been a great addition to my small herd and we can't wait to see what his offspring bring us!
